This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create a robust pipeline of sales opportunities by qualifying leads generated from marketing initiatives and outbound prospecting, ensuring alignment with established customer criteria.
• Engage potential customers through targeted outreach across various channels, including phone, email, social media, and networking events.
• Cultivate and sustain strong working relationships with the broader sales team and marketing departments to ensure strategic alignment, coordinate efforts, and share insights on effectively targeting priority accounts to enhance lead generation and progression through the sales pipeline.
• Oversee and manage leads throughout the qualification process by uncovering opportunities and collaborating closely with Account Executives to validate qualification criteria.
• Interact with prospects and lead initial sales meetings to comprehend their pain points, challenges, and objectives while positioning our products and solutions as effective answers to their needs.
• Provide continuous market feedback and suggestions for refining our positioning and enhancing outbound strategies.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline by accurately documenting all interactions, follow-ups, and progress with leads in relevant databases.
• Identify new contacts using external data sources such as ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Attend local trade shows and training sessions to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics, thereby identifying new opportunities and strategies for business development.
• Grasp Kinaxis’ unique value proposition to effectively educate and stimulate demand among qualified prospects.
• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 years of demonstrated business-to-business experience as a qualified business/market/sales development representative.
• Familiarity with marketing, sales, and business processes and protocols, preferably within a similar industry.
• Strong professional interpersonal skills with the capability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Proficient negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Exceptional collaboration abilities with a knack for influencing, persuading, and gaining support from external parties and key internal stakeholders.
• Effective time management and organizational skills, combined with a proactive, goal-oriented approach.
• Advanced computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office, Excel, Salesforce, and Eloqua, is considered an asset.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels.
• Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, track projects, and meet pressing deadlines.
• A valid passport is required, with the ability to travel as necessary (up to 20%).
