• Taking full ownership of outbound prospecting — conducting research on target accounts, pinpointing key decision-makers and influencers, and executing high-volume, multi-touch outreach through phone, email, and social media to create a consistent pipeline.
• Collaborating closely with Account Executives to devise targeted account strategies and ensure a smooth transition from qualified opportunities to active deals — you're not just arranging meetings; you're positioning your AEs for success.
• Achieving and surpassing your targets — with a monthly quota of 12 qualified, sales-accepted opportunities, you will instill structure and discipline in your daily routine: making 50+ calls, maintaining zero overdue tasks, and keeping a well-organized pipeline.
• Becoming a knowledgeable resource on EnergyCAP's platform and the energy management sector — enabling you to confidently address business challenges related to energy costs, sustainability reporting, and carbon reduction objectives.
• Utilizing modern sales tools — such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong, and AI-driven prospecting — to enhance your research, personalize outreach, and meticulously track activities.
• Representing EnergyCAP at trade shows and industry events (approximately 10% travel) — expanding your professional network and strengthening your presence within the energy and sustainability sectors.
• Engaging in regular one-on-ones and call reviews with your manager to continually refine your approach, receive coaching, and expedite your development towards a Junior AE or Account Management position.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills — you convey your ideas clearly, speak with assurance, and know how to tailor your message for your audience.
• A proactive hunter's mentality and the ability to maintain it — you can handle high-volume activities while preserving the personal touch that makes outreach effective.
• Technical proficiency with modern sales tools — experience with Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong, or similar platforms. Familiarity with AI-assisted prospecting is an advantage.
• A thirst for knowledge and a willingness to learn — you actively seek feedback, implement it swiftly, and are always looking for improvement opportunities. You ask insightful questions and conduct thorough research.
• Strong organizational skills — ensure your pipeline remains clean, your tasks are up-to-date, and your follow-through is impeccable.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred; equivalent experience will be taken into account.
