This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Collaborate with management to strategically identify independent agencies that would benefit from incorporating CURE into their insurance partner portfolio.
• Initiate contact with new agencies through cold calls and warm leads generated from email campaigns and marketing banners on technology platforms like EZLynx and PL Rater.
• Assess each opportunity and send agency agreements to those meeting the expectation of a minimum of 20 quotes per month.
• Aid in the agency onboarding process via phone and email to collect credentialing documents, expediting the setup process when support staff requires assistance.
• Work closely with IT and Operations during the implementation of new technology partners and systems, including IVANS and additional comparative rater platforms.
• Manage complex and escalated customer issues, determining suitable resolutions with minimal supervision.
• Exercise discretion to balance customer needs with company guidelines and risk tolerance.
• Develop a thorough understanding of CURE’s underwriting guidelines, protocols, and systems such as Guidewire and related technologies.
• Use judgment in non-routine or intricate scenarios.
• Identify trends in customer interactions and propose process or policy enhancements.
• Prioritize tasks and make independent decisions to achieve service and business objectives.
• Support the execution of operational changes and service improvements.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members on complex cases and best practices.
• Contribute to training and development initiatives, enhancing the overall capability of the team.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Florida auto insurance products, regulations, and procedures.
• Ensure all activities comply with Florida insurance regulations and company policies.
• Identify potential risks or inconsistencies and take appropriate action.
• Contribute to customer retention strategies and overall business performance.
• Analyze workflow and customer interaction data to suggest improvements.
• Engage in cross-functional initiatives that enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Active Florida 2-20 (General Lines) License required (4-40 may be considered depending on scope).
• Strong understanding of the independent agency channel, insurance products, regional competitors, and agency technology solutions such as comparative raters is essential.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in auto insurance or within an independent agency.
• Proven ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making in complex situations.
• In-depth knowledge of Florida auto insurance coverage, underwriting, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in mentoring or guiding team members is preferred.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required.
