This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Establish and nurture relationships with builders, dealers, distributors, architects, developers, general contractors, and other essential industry partners to increase market share.
• Provide support across various sales channels, including direct retail, distribution, dealer networks, and turnkey building providers.
• Assist customers in comprehending the distinctions between channels and help identify the appropriate solutions tailored to their business model and project requirements.
• Operate within a brand-agnostic framework, supporting a range of product lines and market access routes.
• Guide customers throughout the sales journey, offering product education, onboarding, and continuous account development.
• Train customers on technology platforms, systems, and product offerings.
• Educate customers on metal building systems, product applications, and installation methodologies.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities across diverse customer segments and markets.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including customer service, operations, engineering, and sales leadership, to ensure customer success.
• Assist customers in navigating systems, processes, project coordination, and product selection.
• Support business development efforts aimed at promoting the adoption of light gauge steel building solutions.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while addressing issues and effectively managing customer expectations.
• Build trust with customers through effective communication, in-depth product knowledge, responsiveness, and relationship management.
• Prior experience with metal building systems, metal roofing, wall panels, components, or similar construction products is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with a talent for quickly connecting with customers.
• Sales-driven personality with the confidence to engage customers and foster new business opportunities.
• Capability to comprehend and navigate various sales channels and customer types.
• Experience in reading construction drawings or working within the construction sector is preferred.
• Ability to learn about technical products, systems, and software platforms.
• Strong customer-centric approach with problem-solving skills and the ability to manage customer expectations.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred, though equivalent experience will be taken into account.
• Over 3 years of customer-facing experience is preferred.
