This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Cultivate partnerships with builders, dealers, distributors, architects, developers, general contractors, and other essential industry collaborators to enhance market share.
• Facilitate various sales channels, including direct retail, distribution, dealer networks, and turnkey building providers.
• Assist customers in comprehending the distinctions between channels and identifying the appropriate solutions tailored to their business model and project requirements.
• Operate within a brand-neutral environment, providing support across multiple product lines and market access routes.
• Guide customers through the sales journey, offering product education, onboarding assistance, and continuous account development.
• Instruct customers on technology platforms, systems, and product solutions.
• Aid customers in grasping metal building systems, product applications, and installation techniques.
• Identify and nurture new business prospects across diverse customer segments and markets.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as customer service, operations, engineering, and sales leadership to promote customer success.
• Support customers in navigating systems, processes, project coordination, and product selection.
• Encourage business development efforts aimed at increasing the adoption of light gauge steel building solutions.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while addressing issues and effectively managing customer expectations.
• Establish credibility with customers through effective communication, product expertise, responsiveness, and relationship management.
• A minimum of 3 years of customer-facing experience is preferred.
• Experience in metal building systems, metal roofing, wall panels, or similar construction products is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with a knack for quickly connecting with customers.
• A sales-driven mindset with the confidence to engage customers and create new business opportunities.
• Capability to understand and navigate various sales channels and customer types.
• Familiarity with reading construction drawings or experience within the construction sector is preferred.
• Ability to master technical products, systems, and software platforms.
• A strong customer-centric approach coupled with problem-solving skills and the ability to manage customer expectations.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, though equivalent experience will be taken into account.
