This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Cultivate relationships with builders, dealers, distributors, architects, developers, general contractors, and other essential industry partners to enhance market share.

• Support various sales channels, including direct retail, distribution, dealer networks, and turnkey building providers.

• Assist customers in understanding the distinctions between channels and help identify suitable solutions based on their business model and project requirements.

• Operate within a brand-neutral environment, promoting multiple product lines and market routes.

• Guide customers throughout the sales journey, offering product education, onboarding, and continuous account development.

• Provide training to customers on technology platforms, systems, and product solutions.

• Aid customers in comprehending metal building systems, product applications, and installation procedures.

• Identify and nurture new business opportunities across diverse customer segments and markets.

• Collaborate with internal teams, including customer service, operations, engineering, and sales leadership, to ensure customer success.

• Assist customers in navigating systems, processes, project coordination, and product selection.

• Support business development efforts aimed at increasing the adoption of light gauge steel building solutions.

• Deliver exceptional customer service while addressing issues and effectively managing customer expectations.

• Establish credibility with customers through effective communication, in-depth product knowledge, promptness, and relationship management.


⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience with metal building systems, metal roofing, wall panels, components, or related construction products is highly preferred.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with a knack for quickly connecting with customers.

• Sales-driven personality with the self-assurance to engage customers and create new business opportunities.

• Ability to comprehend and navigate various sales channels and customer types.

• Experience in reading construction drawings or working within the construction industry is preferred.

• Capability to learn technical products, systems, and software platforms.

• Strong customer orientation with the skill to solve problems and manage customer expectations.

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred, though equivalent experience will be taken into account.

• Over 3 years of customer-facing experience is preferred.
