Business Development Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct research, prospect, and qualify designated target accounts through a strategic and focused approach that emphasizes “quality over quantity.”

• Investigate target companies and pinpoint key decision-makers to enhance lead follow-up and outreach efforts.

• Craft and deliver engaging, personalized messages and offers to key personas, including the VP of Security, Chief Nursing Officer, and VP of Operations, to secure initial meetings.

• Collaborate with demand generation marketing to promptly follow up with qualified leads generated from the website and marketing campaigns.

• Work alongside sales representatives to align on target accounts, transition leads, share prospect insights, and prepare for initial meetings.

• Represent Canopy at conferences and virtual events to engage potential customers and qualify leads.

• Provide valuable “voice of customer” feedback and competitive insights to the sales, marketing, and product teams to enhance offerings and refine the go-to-market strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Clinical experience in a hospital or the medical field is highly preferred.

• Experience in expanding sales pipelines through a targeted account-based outbound strategy is advantageous.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and listening skills, complemented by a positive and energetic phone presence.

• Strong work ethic characterized by a sense of ownership, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

• Outstanding writing and verbal communication skills to effectively engage prospective customers.

• Strong organizational and time management capabilities to prioritize daily and weekly activities, particularly in following up with leads systematically.

• Natural teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with marketing and sales colleagues.

• A passion for making an impact on demand generation and sales growth.
