This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify, structure, and finalize SBA 7(a) loans up to $350,000 for small business proprietors.
• Formulate and implement a disciplined sales strategy to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual production targets.
• Cultivate and oversee a robust pipeline through direct prospecting, partnerships with referral sources, and centers of influence.
• Assist borrowers throughout the financing journey from initial consultation to closing.
• Maintain strong conversion rates while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
• Foster and enhance relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) such as CPAs, Attorneys, Business Brokers, Financial Advisors, Commercial Real Estate Professionals, and Industry Consultants.
• Establish strategic alliances that ensure a consistent influx of qualified SBA lending prospects.
• Develop joint business development strategies with key referral partners to boost production and market reach.
• Represent the organization at networking functions, trade associations, industry conferences, and community events.
• Act as a reliable financing resource for referral partners and clients.
• Utilize existing relationships and industry knowledge to create lending opportunities in sectors such as Healthcare practices and providers, Food & Beverage businesses (including restaurants and food manufacturers), Trade contractors and service firms, and Manufacturing companies.
• Cultivate long-term relationships with business owners to foster repeat business and referrals.
• Analyze market trends and create targeted outreach strategies within key sectors.
• Perform initial financial analyses, including cash flow evaluations, debt service coverage, and repayment capacity assessments.
• Structure transactions in alignment with SBA guidelines and internal credit policies.
• Collaborate with underwriting and credit teams to enable efficient approval processes.
• Present well-organized loan requests with thorough analysis and mitigating factors.
• Maintain high credit quality while balancing growth objectives.
• Over 5 years of experience in SBA lending, commercial banking, or small business lending.
• Proven track record in originating SBA 7(a) loans and consistently surpassing production goals.
• Established network of Centers of Influence (COIs) that provide referral opportunities.
• Strong connections and experience in the healthcare, food & beverage, trade, and manufacturing sectors.
• Comprehensive understanding of SBA lending programs, credit analysis, and loan structuring.
• Demonstrated capability to generate new business through relationship management and consultative selling.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and networking abilities.
• Self-driven professional with outstanding pipeline management and organizational skills.
• Experience in a dynamic, production-focused lending environment.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) is preferred.
