Business Development Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify, structure, and finalize small business loans (up to $350K), focusing on equipment financing, leasing transactions, and term loans for small businesses.

• Develop and implement a structured sales strategy to meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly production objectives.

• Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline across various channels including direct, referral, and vendor sources.

• Oversee the complete deal execution process, including pre-screening, structuring, pricing, and closing.

• Recognize, recruit, onboard, and activate vendor partners such as equipment dealers, distributors, and manufacturers.

• Formulate joint business plans with key partners to enhance market penetration and volume.

• Maintain a high standard of responsiveness, transparency, and service throughout the customer journey.

• Conduct preliminary credit analyses encompassing cash flow, collateral evaluation, and risk assessment.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in small business lending, equipment finance, leasing, or commercial sales.

• Proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales and production objectives.

• Experience in developing and managing networks of referral or vendor partners.

• Strong knowledge of credit fundamentals and loan structuring practices.

• Demonstrated ability to source and finalize transactions within the $50K–$350K range.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.

• Self-motivated with robust pipeline management and time management skills.

• Experience in fast-paced, production-driven lending environments.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
