Business Development Manager, VIC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Partner Recruitment: Engage and secure formal agreements with new Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to participate in the Red Hat partner program.

• Technical Co-Creation: Spearhead the creation of technical assets—including certifications, validations, OpenShift operators, or Ansible collections—aligned with essential sales strategies such as AI readiness, virtualization, and automation.

• Success Planning: Develop thorough success plans for collaborative offerings, incorporating business cases, Joint Value Propositions (JVPs), certification timelines, and suggested go-to-market (GTM) strategies.

• Solution Launch: Organize product integrations and commercial materials (demos, solution briefs, ROI calculators) into replicable sales tactics and effectively introduce new solutions throughout the organization and through indirect market channels.

• Field Enablement & Tracking: Equip sales and partner teams with newly introduced, validated solutions and monitor revenue impact using deal registration tracking systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in proactive business development, technology partnerships, or the recruitment of software vendors (ISVs).

• Capability to construct joint business cases, outline GTM strategies, and facilitate technical product certifications.

• Knowledge of aligning software solutions with core sales strategies, particularly in AI, virtualization, or automation.

• Experience in packaging technical integrations into repeatable commercial materials such as demos and solution briefs.

• Expertise in utilizing data-driven tracking methods like deal registration to assess pipeline impact.
