This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within targeted market segments through proactive prospecting, positioning of solutions, and qualification of opportunities.
• Familiarity with substation communications, SCADA networks, RTU/PLC protection, AMI/AMR infrastructure, LMR/two-way radio, microwave, LTE/private wireless, GPS timing, tower sites, control houses, cabinets, remote monitoring, renewable interconnects, and grid-edge communication systems.
• Implement strategic account penetration strategies to enhance Infinite Electronics’ presence among key industrial OEMs, integrators, contractors, and end-user accounts.
• Encourage cross-selling of all IE products that meet customer needs across various applications, utilizing custom-engineering capabilities with a cohesive solution.
• Collect, analyze, and convey market insights, competitive intelligence, and emerging opportunities to relevant internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Marketing, and Inside Sales to effectively support product introduction to the market with customers.
• Generate leads and arrange qualified meetings by participating in trade shows, engaging with key organizations/groups, and leveraging social selling (LinkedIn), converting interactions into pipeline opportunities.
• Secure specification positions with clients that translate into measurable revenue and ongoing opportunities.
• Develop and implement account and territory strategies alongside sales leadership, identifying target accounts, pipeline objectives, critical pursuits, customer QBRs, and necessary actions to meet quota.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical or vocational field.
• Over 10 years of sales experience in the Utility sector, with established connections to industry leaders, regulatory agencies, and organizations such as UTC.
• Established relationships with key industry leaders, governing bodies, and relevant industry organizations (e.g., UTC).
• Strong interpersonal abilities, sound business acumen, a customer-centric approach, and a proven history of achieving revenue growth.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts clearly and professionally in English.
• High proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, & PowerPoint), CRM, and ERP systems.
