
Business Development Manager – U.S. Market Expansion

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive expansion strategy for the U.S. market that aligns with long-term growth goals.
• Identify and actively pursue new business opportunities within investor-owned utilities (IOUs), municipal utilities, electric cooperatives (co-ops), OEM transformer manufacturers, EPC firms, and high-voltage service providers.
• Build and nurture relationships with engineering, asset management, and procurement decision-makers.
• Enhance Nomos’ visibility and strategic positioning within the high-voltage ecosystem in the U.S.
• Generate and qualify leads while establishing a robust and sustainable pipeline.
• Represent Nomos at significant industry events (such as IEEE, CIGRÉ, Doble, and regional utility forums).
• Deliver technical presentations, white papers, and engaging sales pitches.
• Provide organized market intelligence to leadership and engineering teams concerning trends, competition, and evolving customer needs.
• Collaborate internally to ensure a seamless transition from opportunity identification to technical engagement and proposal development.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or market development in fields such as power transformers, high-voltage equipment, substations/protection & control, industrial control cabinets, or utility infrastructure.
• Proven track record of developing new markets or expanding territories in a systematic and disciplined way.
• Strong understanding of the U.S. utility and high-voltage ecosystem.
• Ability to engage credibly with technical and engineering stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the United States.
