This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish and nurture Third Party Remarketing relationships externally through prospecting, lead generation, analytics, proposals, negotiations, and onboarding new clients.
• Work collaboratively with professionals serving Third-Party clients to provide an exceptional client experience.
• Cultivate new client relationships while enhancing existing business opportunities.
• Optimize vehicle disposition outcomes and track remarketing performance metrics.
• Manage the complete sales process, including prospecting, sales calls, data analysis, proposal preparation, negotiation, and onboarding clients.
• Research and secure new clients with owned vehicles and repossessed assets for Remarketing Servicing through Element.
• Formulate and implement annual strategic plans with clear milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
• Assist in strategic planning aimed at vehicle remarketing, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Create and execute marketing campaigns and auction promotions.
• Assess and price vehicles that are available for sale.
• Ensure the operational effectiveness and efficiency of disposal vendors.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients regarding asset disposition.
• Comprehend prospects' business goals and translate these into viable solutions.
• Identify dealer needs and expectations, customizing Element’s offerings accordingly.
• Build relationships with new prospects and sustain connections with company departments and functions.
• Develop and deliver sales proposals and presentations suitable for executive-level audiences.
• A minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in vehicle remarketing, automotive sales, fleet management, auction operations, or a related sector.
• Proven knowledge of the complete vehicle remarketing process.
• Demonstrated experience in business development, encompassing prospecting, lead generation, sales pipeline development, and converting opportunities into new client relationships and finalized business.
• Experience in onboarding and expanding third-party client relationships.
• Ability to evaluate client needs, devise solutions, support negotiations, and facilitate the transition of new business through implementation and ongoing relationship management.
• Competence in building relationships with dealer and commercial accounts.
• Background in consultative sales.
• Capability to articulate the value of professional remarketing services and propose strategies that align with client objectives.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25–30% to auction sites, client or prospect meetings, industry conferences, and other business events.
• Strong financial insight and practical analytical skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Proven experience in building and nurturing relationships with both internal and external business partners and clients.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• A college or university degree is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Automotive Management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant professional experience will be considered.
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance, repair, manufacturer warranties, vehicle manufacturers, and upfit considerations is preferred.
