
Business Development Manager – Southeast, Hospitality/Hotel Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Propel commercial expansion for a premier global hospitality firm by connecting with targeted travel bookers and agency partners.
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with leisure, corporate transient, unmanaged, and government travel agencies within the assigned region.
• Forge partnerships with agency leaders and collaborate with Business Development Managers via joint sales calls, training sessions, webinars, and regional events.
• Interact with travel advisors through virtual and in-person sales calls, webinars, agency visits, and advisor engagement events.
• Present sales pitches that highlight the company’s comprehensive hotel brand portfolio and segment-specific offerings.
• Evaluate account metrics, room night performance, market trends, and production data to prioritize agencies and optimize ROI.
• Formulate customized, data-driven sales strategies and tailor content for agency engagements.
• Conduct performance evaluations with agency contacts to uncover shifts and new opportunities.
• Oversee call frequency and agency engagement strategies using call files and performance tracking.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and revenue teams on events, activations, and partner initiatives.
• Maintain records of sales activities and monitor performance using Salesforce and reporting tools.
• Keep the Outlook calendar updated with travel plans, appointments, and agency engagement schedules.
• Submit expense reports along with supporting documentation.
• Represent the company in a professional manner, safeguard company assets, and ensure a clean vehicle for joint client visits.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in the hospitality or travel sectors, particularly in sales, account management, or marketing.
• Preferably experienced in working with host agencies.
• Event planning experience is considered advantageous.
• Professional appearance coupled with a strong business presence.
• Proficient in spoken and written English at a professional level.
• Outstanding communication, selling, presentation, and influencing capabilities.
• Competent in establishing and nurturing business relationships through face-to-face interactions, email, video conferencing, and phone calls.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, WebEx, and Zoom.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
• Willingness to accommodate occasional additional hours or ad hoc responsibilities.
• Capability to travel 30-50% within the assigned region, including occasional international travel.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel independently throughout the territory.
• Must reside in the Orlando, Miami, or Fort Lauderdale area with easy access to a major airport.
• Reimbursement for approved business expenses through prompt expense reporting.
• Provision of company-issued materials and equipment.
• Opportunities for occasional additional hours or ad hoc business support as necessary.
