This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Analyze fraud trends, risk ratios, and operational inefficiencies across various markets, providing regular reports and insights.
• Assist in launching new markets by collaborating closely with Legal, Admin, Product, and Operations teams to evaluate regulatory frameworks and local legal requirements; data privacy, AML, KYC, and compliance obligations; and the design and optimization of customer onboarding and transaction processes.
• Conduct monthly competitor analysis on fraud prevention tools, KYC processes, and risk management controls to ensure an optimal balance between security and user experience.
• Collaborate with Product and Tech teams to enhance onboarding, withdrawal, and transaction processes continuously.
• Assess, onboard, and oversee KYC, AML, fraud, and compliance partners.
• Lead negotiations with partners and assist in initiatives aimed at cost optimization.
• Support compliance with PCI DSS, conduct security audits, and contribute to broader regulatory readiness programs.
• Ensure comprehensive risk and fraud readiness for new market launches.
• Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks to offer leadership clear visibility into risks and aid in decision-making.
• Over 6 years of experience in risk management, fraud prevention, compliance, or payment security.
• Strong understanding of KYC, AML, transaction monitoring, and risk control measures.
• Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with product and engineering teams in dynamic environments.
• Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
• Previous experience in emerging markets is strongly preferred.
• Comfortable working in greenfield, low-structure environments and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Highly adaptable and resilient, capable of navigating changing regulatory and market conditions.
• Strong stakeholder management abilities across Product, Operations, Technology, Legal, and external partners.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential.
