
Business Development Manager – Regional Insurance Carriers

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement a strategic sales plan aimed at regional and mid-market Property & Casualty insurance carriers, mutual companies, MGAs, reciprocal exchanges, and InsurTech firms.
• Build and sustain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities through active prospecting, networking, referrals, and outbound business development efforts.
• Identify and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, including Claims Executives, Vendor Managers, Operations Leaders, and C-suite executives.
• Establish Hancock Claims Consultants as a reliable partner for claim solutions by understanding each client’s operational needs and customizing solutions accordingly.
• Oversee the entire sales process, encompassing prospecting, discovery, proposal creation, contract negotiations, closing, and onboarding transitions.
• Present engaging presentations, product demonstrations, and business proposals to potential clients.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing to implement targeted outbound campaigns and lead generation initiatives.
• Work together with account management to guarantee a smooth onboarding process and promote long-term client growth.
• Represent Hancock Claims Consultants at industry conferences, trade shows, carrier events, and networking functions.
• Maintain precise CRM records, sales forecasts, pipeline activities, and performance metrics.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitive insights, and emerging opportunities within the insurance sector.
• A minimum of 5 years of Business Development or Sales experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance sector.
• Proven success in selling services or solutions to insurance carriers, MGAs, TPAs, specialty insurers, or similar organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business through proactive prospecting and relationship development.
• Successful history of managing multiple opportunities through a comprehensive sales cycle.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.
• Capability to work independently while effectively collaborating across various departments.
• Strong organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.
• Willingness to travel as necessary throughout the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
