πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Establish and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders, including local authorities, integrated care boards (ICBs), case managers, property investors, developers, housing associations, and Registered Providers.

β€’ Navigate effectively through ICB and local authority commissioning processes, including joint-funded packages, while expanding and maintaining contact networks amidst ICB mergers and consolidations.

β€’ Generate and secure referrals to enhance service delivery and occupancy, thereby increasing the number of specialist support packages offered.

β€’ Identify and assess tender and framework opportunities, develop business cases, and negotiate pricing and contract terms with operational and finance teams.

β€’ Promote sustainable revenue and gross margin growth while ensuring profitability is safeguarded.

β€’ Formulate and implement a property-led growth strategy, establishing partnerships with property investors and developers to provide tailored accommodation for high-acuity needs.

β€’ Identify and negotiate property acquisitions, leases, and development partnerships, serving as the strategic liaison among commissioners, property, operations, clinical, and finance teams.

β€’ Oversee the entire referral-to-mobilisation process, from the initial inquiry to a fully operational service, with a comprehensive understanding of the necessities for effective mobilisation.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A demonstrated history of business development and revenue enhancement within the specialist care, supported living, or health and social care sectors.

β€’ Strong, verifiable relationships within local authority and ICB commissioning, including expertise in joint-funded packages.

β€’ Commercial insight β€” capable of building business cases, negotiating pricing and contracts, and managing growth to preserve margin and profitability.

β€’ Experience in property-led growth: sourcing accommodation and collaborating with investors, developers, housing associations, and Registered Providers.

β€’ Comprehensive experience of the referral-to-mobilisation process for new services.

β€’ Confidence in presenting pipeline, forecasts, and performance data to senior management and Board-level stakeholders.

β€’ A valid UK driving license and a willingness to travel across our regions and target areas.
