
Business Development Manager β Heavy Duty Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
β’ Responsible for developing and enhancing sales for Fleet, Government, and Heavy-Duty accounts.
β’ Engages in the communication and execution of strategic initiatives for Fleet, Government, and Heavy-Duty sectors, including new Fleet Elite member enrollments, Master Service Agreement program implementation, sales promotions, and product training.
β’ Manages the registration and onboarding process for all new MSA customers within the Fleet and Government sectors.
β’ Effectively presents, communicates, and promotes the benefits of joining the NAPA Elite Fleet program to prospective Fleet clients.
β’ Initiates calls to Commercial Fleets and Government entities to present the comprehensive product offerings of NAPA Light Duty and Heavy-Duty lines and programs.
β’ Collaborates closely with NAPA Fleet Headquarters, providing valuable feedback, innovative ideas, and field insights to facilitate program adoption, acquire new accounts, enhance Autotech training, and achieve sales targets.
β’ 3-5 years of prior experience in sales and account management.
β’ Proven track record of successfully developing new business while also maintaining and expanding existing accounts.
β’ Must hold a valid driver's license.
β’ Willingness to travel within the designated territory, attending account meetings, sales meetings, and other engagements; capable of driving long distances for multiple sales calls daily, including overnight stays as necessary.
β’ Sales Acumen: Exhibits the ability to effectively understand and apply sales principles, techniques, and processes.
β’ Communication and Customer Focus: Possesses the ability to identify, comprehend, and address customer needs, fostering strong, enduring relationships and influencing others through clear and persuasive communication.
β’ Resilience and Adaptability: Capable of swiftly recovering from setbacks, maintaining motivation, and adjusting to dynamic circumstances within a fast-paced sales environment.
β’ Results Orientation & Financial Acumen: Demonstrates a strong commitment to meeting or surpassing sales targets and objectives, focusing on generating measurable outcomes while understanding how to structure deals to satisfy both sales and profit goals.
β’ Product Knowledge: Holds an in-depth understanding of the specifications, features, benefits, and distinctions among products and brands.
β’ Technology Proficiency: Comfortable with CRM systems, inventory management software, and other sales tools, with the ability to utilize digital platforms for customer engagement.
β’ Delivers exceptional customer service and communication to all NAPA Fleet and Government accounts within the territory.
β’ Regularly engages with current NAPA Fleet customers to facilitate program adoption.
