This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Conducting market analysis
• Assessing applications within the healthcare sector (e.g., biopharma, laboratory vacuum systems, medical gases) and in plastics recycling to pinpoint growth opportunities
• Evaluating industries for their resilience, regulatory trends, and sustainability relevance
• Tracking competitors and identifying product gaps to assist in sales and portfolio strategy development
• Crafting market segmentation and value propositions
• Assisting sales teams in managing key accounts through performance evaluations and innovation planning
• Offering insights into applications and markets to help shape customer strategies
• Leading the acquisition of new strategic customers while developing persuasive business cases
• Advising portfolio leaders on market trends, application areas, and competitor positioning
• Supporting new product development and the creation of business cases
• Aligning pricing and value strategies with sales and product teams
• Providing targeted training and technical support to enhance sales effectiveness
• Bridging competency gaps through tools, coaching, and customized materials
• Collaborating with marketing on messaging, campaigns, and promotional materials
• Enhancing brand visibility through trade shows, digital content, and industry-specific initiatives
• Developing and updating training resources on health and plastics recycling topics
• Serving as a subject-matter and market expert for internal stakeholders, customers, and external audiences (e.g., conference presentations, webinars, and customer events)
• Proven strategies within vertical markets that have achieved measurable revenue and margin growth
• Established presence in health and plastics recycling through the acquisition of major customers and market recognition
• Developed internal capabilities across teams via regular training and collaboration
• Recognized as a subject-matter expert who gains the trust of both internal and external stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related technical/commercial discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in market development, product management, or technical sales – ideally within industrial applications such as vacuum technology, compressors, or sustainable technologies
• Demonstrated ability to manage strategic customers, identify market opportunities, and influence cross-functional teams
• Experience in healthcare, life sciences, plastics recycling, or other sustainability-oriented industries is highly advantageous
• Required international business experience and proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus
