This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee and enhance a portfolio of current Clover merchants by pinpointing opportunities to increase their utilization of Clover's software ecosystem.
• Execute proactive outreach through designated customer lists, inbound inquiries, referrals, and account-based engagement strategies.
• Consult with business proprietors to comprehend operational challenges, business objectives, and avenues for growth.
• Propose and showcase Clover’s premium software solutions, including industry-specific applications and value-added services aimed at enhancing business performance.
• Propel software upgrades, feature adoption, and account expansion by providing customized recommendations aligned with merchant requirements.
• Manage the sales process from discovery to closure while ensuring a smooth customer experience.
• Collaborate with onboarding, implementation, customer success, and support teams to ensure successful deployment and ongoing adoption of software solutions.
• Maintain accurate customer records, activity tracking, pipeline management, and forecasting within CRM systems.
• Cultivate strong relationships with existing merchants to boost retention, customer satisfaction, and lifetime value.
• Bilingual proficiency in both French and English.
• 0-1+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management, customer success, or customer-facing business development roles.
• 0-1+ years of experience in conducting consultative conversations and identifying customer business needs.
• 0-1+ years of experience with CRM and pipeline management tools, such as Salesforce.
• 0-1+ years of equivalent combination of educational background, relevant experience, and/or military experience.
• 2+ years of proven success in B2B sales, account management, software sales, customer success, upselling, or cross-selling environments (preferred).
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience selling SaaS, POS, business software, or technology solutions to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) (preferred).
• Familiarity with merchant services, payment processing, or acquiring environments (preferred).
• Experience managing customer portfolios, account planning, and revenue expansion initiatives (preferred).
• Direct experience with the Clover platform or similar POS and business management software ecosystems (preferred).
