This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• The Business Development Manager (BDM) serves as the representative for the Facial Aesthetics product line to specific aesthetic clients within an assigned geographical region.
• Responsible for fostering product acceptance and driving portfolio growth through strategic business development initiatives.
• The BDM delivers technical expertise on products and procedures, along with distinguishing competitive product features.
• Achieves assigned sales targets through innovative, consultative selling and the execution of the U.S. Sales/Marketing strategy.
• Utilizes resources effectively to boost the adoption and sales growth of the Facial Aesthetics portfolio, which encompasses BOTOX® Cosmetic, JUVEDERM® Collection of fillers, and Kybella® brands.
• Collaboratively works and coordinates efforts with other Allergan Aesthetics cross-portfolio partners and support teams.
• Adheres to necessary reporting, requests, and compliance policies.
• A Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.
• A minimum of 3+ years of sales experience is required, with a preference for business-to-business-to-consumer (B2B2C) sales experience.
• Familiarity with general marketing principles and concepts within the healthcare sector is essential.
• Understanding of the operational aspects of a physician's practice is required.
• A valid driver’s license is necessary.
• Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities are essential.
• A proven track record of effective sales execution is required.
• Ability to provide effective consultative support.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and resolution skills are essential.
• Capacity to develop key strategies and implement them effectively.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, are required.
• Strong contract negotiation skills are necessary.
• Experience with financial and budgetary matters is required.
• Willingness to travel and be in the field four days a week is essential.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other relevant software is required.
• Valid driver’s license: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving standards.
