• Actively generate new leads and opportunities through cold-calling, networking, and outreach within the industry.
• Qualify potential clients and oversee the sales pipeline from the first contact through to closing.
• Create tailored proposals that align with customer requirements and the company’s offerings.
• Inform prospective clients about the Company’s EV charging solutions and Energy Services, along with associated products and services.
• Achieve or surpass monthly and quarterly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Monitor and manage all sales activities utilizing CRM tools (Salesforce).
• Establish long-term relationships with clients, business owners, facility managers, and commercial developers.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams (construction services, engineering, marketing, customer service, finance) to facilitate deal flow and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Represent the Company at trade shows, networking events, and local energy/EV related gatherings.
• Formulate and implement comprehensive sales strategies for growth across B2B, B2C, and government sectors, aligning with business goals and identifying new market opportunities.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to pinpoint trends and areas for growth, and devise strategies for market penetration and expansion.
• Foster relationships with strategic clients and partners, lead intricate negotiations, and secure strategic alliances to broaden reach and expedite growth.
• Identify and secure significant enterprise and government sales opportunities.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Over 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience with a proven track record in the EV charging or Renewable Energy technology sectors.
• Demonstrated success in cold calling and building new business from the ground up.
• A self-starter who flourishes in a fast-paced, mission-oriented environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• An MBA is preferred.
• Experience in scaling revenue at a rapidly growing or publicly traded company.
• Proven capability to develop and implement sales strategies, exceed revenue goals, and build and manage sales teams.
• Strong knowledge of the EV charging industry, Renewable Energy market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
• Proficiency in B2B and potentially B2C sales models, including managing complex enterprise sales processes.
• Familiarity with sales forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
• Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
• Valid Driver’s License.
