This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Identify and acquire new clients while establishing new business relationships within the Industry and HBAS sectors.
• Define and analyze target markets and prospective customers.
• Develop strategies for systematic market coverage in collaboration with Sales Management.
• Identify and evaluate additional business models and assess their viability.
• Manage and track inquiries, including pricing aspects.
• Oversee offer management from both commercial and technical viewpoints, liaising with internal specialist departments.
• Hold primary responsibility for price and contract negotiations, considering the commercial and technical factors from internal specialists.
• Facilitate the transition of newly acquired customers from the prototype phase to production status.
• Prepare and reconcile annual and multi-year sales forecasts.
• Build networks and establish contacts within target industries; participate in trade fairs, industry events, conferences, seminars, and committees.
• This role is predominantly field-based, with options for mobile working available.
• A successfully completed technical or commercial degree, such as in Electrical Engineering, Economics, or Business Administration.
• Alternatively, a completed technical or commercial vocational training followed by additional qualifications.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in product or service sales.
• Knowledge of the electrical engineering/electronics industry and market is advantageous.
• Proficient commercial and technical English skills.
• Competent in MS Office; experience with SAP is a plus.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Germany and, if necessary, to other European countries.
• Self-motivated with a goal- and results-oriented approach to work.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills.
