This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Promote and sell Eurofins Discovery’s chemistry and pharmacology products and services within the designated Southeast US territory to meet regional sales objectives.
• Comprehend the drug discovery process and effectively market the portfolio to U.S. clients.
• Identify potential clients in need of drug discovery services or products.
• Cultivate and maintain client relationships through collaborative methods and regular in-person meetings.
• Offer strategic recommendations and feedback to align operational strategies with client needs.
• Create, document, and consistently update territory and regional business plans.
• Monitor and report on competitor activities both regionally and globally.
• Generate monthly reports based on established key performance indicators.
• Ensure accurate and comprehensive data entry in the company CRM.
• Foster collaborative relationships with senior leaders at Eurofins Discovery.
• Leverage Eurofins Discovery resources to achieve sales goals.
• Maintain expertise in technical applications related to chemistry services for drug discovery and development.
• Promote and ensure customer satisfaction, including responding to inquiries within 24 hours.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team on territory and regional strategies to enhance the portfolio and brand visibility.
• Utilize various sales and marketing channels, including websites, e-commerce, marketplaces, webinars, trade shows, and customer site events.
• Deliver impactful presentations to both clients and internal teams.
• Provide constructive feedback and analysis to refine, modify, or broaden the portfolio and marketing approaches.
• Travel approximately 30–40% of the time, primarily within the territory.
• Complete expense reports in accordance with company policies.
• Assist fellow sales colleagues and undertake additional assigned responsibilities.
• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience.
• Strong knowledge of drug discovery, particularly in discovery chemistry.
• Must reside in the assigned territory.
• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, pharmacology, or a related field.
• Experience with drug discovery products and services.
• In-depth understanding of the pharmaceutical drug discovery and development process.
• Familiarity with or previous experience in the CRO market.
• Proven track record of analyzing and responding to global business trends to stimulate regional business growth.
• Exceptional presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with various internal stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a limited basis for training and client audits.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship.
• Availability to travel approximately 30–40% of the time.
• Willingness to work Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with overtime as necessary.
