This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement a strategic growth plan aimed at enhancing Fluke’s footprint in the EV charging and solar sectors.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities with charge point operators (CPOs), EVSE manufacturers and installers, fleet operators, solar EPCs, and utilities that facilitate DER interconnection.
• Create long-term growth strategies for significant distributed energy clients and establish connections with executive stakeholders to ensure enterprise-wide adoption and expansion opportunities.
• Design standardized workflows preferred by Fluke for EVSE commissioning and maintenance technicians, PV installers, and electrical contractors.
• Promote the utilization of Fluke solutions in various workflows, including installation, commissioning, acceptance testing, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and electrical safety.
• Evaluate competitive offerings and market trends to formulate strategies that position Fluke as the preferred choice in distributed energy workflows.
• Take ownership of revenue growth, pipeline development, and market share expansion goals within the distributed energy segment.
• 8–12+ years of experience in business development, strategic sales, or key account management within the realms of distributed energy, EV infrastructure, solar, energy storage, electrical infrastructure, test & measurement, or similar technical sectors.
• Proven success in acquiring new business, expanding accounts, and negotiating multi-site or multi-year agreements in intricate B2B settings.
• Comprehensive understanding of distributed energy ecosystems, encompassing EV charging infrastructure, solar generation, energy storage, utilities, fleet electrification, and contractor networks.
• Practical knowledge of workflows related to EVSE installation and maintenance, PV commissioning processes, energy storage systems, electrical safety practices, and relevant industry codes and standards.
• Experience in engaging with and selling to charge point operators (CPOs), EVSE manufacturers and installers, solar EPCs, O&M providers, utilities, fleet operators, asset owners, commissioning agents, or similar stakeholders.
• Demonstrated capability to develop and implement strategic account plans, map stakeholders, and influence decision-makers at various organizational levels, including executive leadership.
• Background in developing and managing pipelines spanning 12–24 months, encompassing early-stage opportunity creation and funnel development.
• Ability to communicate value propositions related to reliability, safety, productivity, regulatory compliance, and total cost of ownership (TCO).
• History of cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, product management, and channel partners to achieve revenue targets.
• Excellent executive communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Experience in selling through and collaborating with distribution channel partners.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% across North America.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
