• Leverages customer, competitive, and market insights to enhance sales and account engagement.
• Identifies the extensive capabilities of Anord Mardix to craft proactive solutions or responses to proposals that differentiate Flex and assist customers in addressing critical challenges and driving revenue growth.
• Develops and manages a personal pipeline aligned with the overarching strategy of the business unit.
• Plays a key role in formulating strategies to advocate for Flex Shaping propositions that fulfill client needs in collaboration with Regional VPs and the Business Development team.
• Familiar with the customer's organization, products, market standing, objectives, sourcing strategies, suppliers, manufacturing sites, competition, and future trajectories.
• Takes ownership of implementing the account strategy to secure business deals.
• Responsible for pipeline development, management, and the contract negotiation and approval process.
• Builds and nurtures customer relationships to position Flex for sustained growth and contributes to establishing efficient communication processes with the Account Manager and execution teams to ensure clear customer expectations and contractual commitments.
• Conducts research to understand customers’ business strategies, future product plans, and expansion initiatives.
• Achieves personal booking targets.
• Defines business priorities through a comprehensive vision of market and technology needs, including initiating and managing business development activities that will enhance, expand, and accelerate market penetration.
• Generates new business opportunities and serves as the primary contact for presenting, selling, and delivering Flex’s solutions, which encompass concept development, design and engineering, industrial design, manufacturing, supply chain/logistics, services hold up, and reverse logistics.
• Recognizes the strategic alignment between customer needs and Flex capabilities, in accordance with Flex’s growth strategy.
• Engages in account planning, proactive proposal development, relationship building, quoting intelligence, and customer meetings.
• Negotiates deals and services in accordance with company policies.
• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience and training, plus a minimum of 6 years of related experience.
• Proven experience in Data Center/Critical Power business development, with a focus on strategic Data Center growth in North America.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and executive management as well as external customers to achieve mutual benefits.
• Strong understanding of key financial metrics and proficiency in interpreting P&L statements, balance sheets, and ROI indicators, taking actions to satisfy customers’ needs while meeting Anord Mardix & Flex objectives.
• Demonstrates a high level of functional knowledge related to other functions and possesses a comprehensive understanding of their own role and those of related businesses.
