This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Propel growth by taking charge of the complete commercial business capture process.

• Initiate customer discovery and lead generation efforts to uncover new opportunities.

• Work collaboratively across various teams, including Mission Engineering and Product, to provide integrated solutions for clients.

• Manage an active pipeline of opportunities, enhancing deal velocity through cross-functional collaboration with Mission Architecture teams.

• Establish qualification criteria and pricing estimation frameworks for "standard" deals to streamline the transition from pursuit review to ROM pricing.

• Produce market sizing reports and insights from customer discovery for "next generation" verticals.

• Supervise deal closure and guarantee a smooth transition from pre-sales to execution.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of pertinent technical experience, including engineering, technical sales, or technical solutioning within the Aerospace sector.

• More than 5 years of direct business development and/or sales experience in a related field.

• Comprehensive business development experience, covering lead generation, discovery, capture, and proposal management.

• Demonstrated success in managing complex external relationships and collaborating with customers during both pre-sales and execution phases.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.

• A Bachelor of Science in a technical or related discipline, or a Bachelor of Commerce/Business degree complemented by substantial technical experience in the field.

• U.S. Person status is required due to ITAR/EAR export control regulations.
