This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma, +1 more state.
• Accountable for driving business development and growth initiatives within the ABB Drives division.
• Foster new business expansion through enhanced brand and product recognition, ensuring ABB Drives is included on end customer Authorized Vendor Lists (AVLs) and Frame Agreements (FAs).
• Collaborate closely with Channel Sales, Channel Program, and OEM Team colleagues.
• Record customer stakeholders, purchasing behaviors, and insights on existing brand preferences.
• Effectively communicate strategic approaches through product positioning and solution offerings.
• Utilize expertise in the Chemical Oil and Gas industry to identify upstream and downstream trends, crafting and presenting compelling value propositions.
• Provide quarterly support and insights to the global Chemical Oil and Gas team regarding trends in the US market.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Over 8 years of experience in capital assist sales within the industrial Chemical Oil and Gas upstream (non-artificial lift) sector and related industrial equipment applications, including battery storage facilities, separators, vapor recovery units, pumps, fans, and processed water transfer and treatment.
• Comprehensive understanding of low voltage Variable Frequency Drives, motors, and associated equipment.
• Proven ability to assess and analyze customer requirements, offering application solutions while effectively communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficient in Salesforce.com, with relevant experience and skills.
• Established domain expertise in subsegments and applications within the industrial Chemical Oil and Gas upstream (non-artificial lift) and downstream sectors, evidenced by published white papers, participation in industry subcommittees, and contributions to industry standards highly preferred.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in securing AVL product specifications from customers by delivering application solutions for the Chemical Oil and Gas industry upstream (non-artificial lift) and downstream segments is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% nationally across all regions of the United States, necessitating a valid US Driver’s License.
• Candidates must possess work authorization that allows them to be employed by ABB in the United States.
