This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Expand business operations within the Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) region, with a focus on the NGS bioinformatics sector.
• Leverage the VarSome.com community to attract new clients for VarSome Premium, VarSome Clinical, and VarSome API.
• Build and nurture effective relationships with clients and partners to facilitate the successful integration of our products.
• Collaborate with the designated application scientist to identify current and future requirements, enhancing value and driving additional business from the existing customer base.
• Analyze competitors’ sales tactics and value propositions, offering essential insights to the Application Science and Product teams.
• Work alongside the Product team to convert market demands into precise product specifications, shaping the product development roadmap.
• Partner with marketing and commercial teams to enhance brand positioning and execute impactful communication strategies.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a quota-driven Sales or Business Development position, ideally within the NGS, Bioinformatics, or Health-Tech industries.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Genetics, Bioinformatics, or a Business discipline with a robust foundation in Biotechnology.
• Background in clinical genomics with a strong understanding of NGS workflows.
• Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and professional networking platforms for managing and reporting on the sales pipeline.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the CEE clinical landscape, encompassing local procurement processes and regulatory trends.
• High initiative and the capability to work independently in a remote-first setting while consistently achieving growth targets.
• Proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
• Previous experience in a bioinformatics software company is highly regarded.
• Familiarity with variant analysis and interpretation.
• Experience in regulated environments (IVDR, CLIA/CAP, or equivalent).
• Experience in a multicultural setting and/or assisting international clients.
• Familiarity with remote-first work environments.
• Fluency in German and/or French is considered a valuable asset.
