This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the life sciences and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sectors, utilizing an established network of industry contacts.
• Develop, enhance, and broaden relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors.
• Perform needs assessments to grasp customer objectives, challenges, and operational requirements, translating these into solutions offered by Catalyx.
• Present Catalyx’s offerings, which include real-time process control, robotics, machine vision, digital line clearance, and professional or managed services, to meet customer needs and deliver quantifiable value.
• Oversee the entire sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to proposal development, pricing, negotiation, and closing.
• Work collaboratively with Pre-Sales Engineering, Solution Architects, and Customer Success teams to develop precise scopes of work, proposals, coordinate demonstrations, and present compelling value propositions and commercial proposals.
• Maintain disciplined management of the sales pipeline, ensure CRM hygiene, provide performance updates, and maintain forecasting accuracy in line with Catalyx’s commercial processes and CRM expectations.
• Represent Catalyx at customer locations, industry events, and conferences to showcase capabilities and enhance market presence.
• A minimum of 5+ years of proven sales experience in the life sciences sector or regulated industrial automation environments.
• A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets, with a strong focus on hunting and acquiring new business.
• An existing network of contacts and accounts within the life sciences field across engineering, operations, quality, procurement, or technical leadership roles.
• Strong technical knowledge, with the ability to comprehend complex automation architectures and effectively communicate value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Capability to navigate multi-stakeholder consultative sales processes within regulated manufacturing environments.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and adept at working independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in modern CRM platforms; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred.
