Business Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Create and implement a territory business strategy aimed at enhancing top-line growth, profitability, and retention with both existing partners and new agency appointments.

• Travel extensively across Texas to engage with prospective and current agents, providing product training, marketing assistance, and managing relationships.

• Identify high-potential agencies that align with Vault’s high-net-worth market, onboarding them through a consultative sales methodology.

• Work collaboratively with underwriting, marketing, and service teams to guarantee a seamless experience for agents and clients.

• Keep track of market trends, competitor activities, and agency performance to guide strategic decisions.

• Represent Vault at industry events, conferences, and networking occasions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or agency management within the P&C insurance sector, preferably focused on the high-net-worth market.

• Strong understanding of personal lines insurance products and their distribution channels.

• Proven track record of establishing and nurturing trusted relationships with independent agents and brokers.

• Self-motivated individual with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation capabilities.

• Ability to work independently in a field-based role that requires frequent travel.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
