This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Generate revenue and enhance profitability by establishing distributor partnerships that prioritize TP-Link across various product lines.
• Collaborate with partners to predict demand, maintain inventory levels, and close supply gaps.
• Spearhead channel-specific promotions and product launches.
• Work collaboratively across sales, marketing, and product teams.
• Keep track of market trends, pricing, and competitor activities to transform insights into actionable business strategies.
• Take ownership of and expand revenue through key security and low-voltage distributors throughout the U.S.
• Cultivate relationships with buyers, category managers, and regional sales leadership.
• Implement joint business plans, promotions, and product introductions.
• Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), forecasting sessions, and sales evaluations.
• Acquire new customers by providing training and education to consultants and installers.
• Optimize deal registration, ensure inventory availability, and streamline quoting processes.
• Deliver product and sales training to distributor sales teams.
• Align distributor activities with the broader go-to-market strategy.
• 5–7+ years of experience in channel sales, distribution, or business development within the networking, physical security, or related sectors.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Practical experience in managing key security distributors or resellers, such as ADI, Wesco/Anixter, KOA, Pioneer Music Company, or Silmar Electronics.
• Strong grasp of the B2B market and the two-tier distribution model.
• Demonstrated closing abilities and proficiency in clear communication via phone, writing, presentations, and in distributor locations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, self-driven, and an ownership mentality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Comfortable utilizing CRM tools to monitor KPIs, pipeline, and account activities.
• Quick learner of product features with the ability to convey their value to partners and end-users.
• Strong analytical skills with the capacity to interpret sales data, recognize trends, and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Willingness to travel as necessary for onsite distributor meetings, training sessions, trade shows, and events.
• Currently unable to provide visa sponsorship.
