This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive revenue and profitability by establishing strong distributor partnerships across various product lines.
• Collaborate with partners to anticipate demand, manage inventory levels, and address supply shortages.
• Lead promotions and rollouts specific to channels.
• Work collaboratively across sales, marketing, and product teams.
• Keep an eye on market trends, pricing strategies, and competitor activities, translating insights into actionable business strategies.
• Take ownership of and expand revenue through key security and low-voltage distributors throughout the U.S.
• Develop relationships with buyers, category managers, and regional sales leaders.
• Implement joint business plans, promotions, and product launches effectively.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews, forecasting sessions, and sales evaluations.
• Generate new customer opportunities through training and education aimed at consultants and installers.
• Optimize deal registration, availability of inventory, and quoting processes.
• Provide product and sales training for distributor sales teams.
• Ensure distributor activities align with the larger go-to-market strategy.
• 5–7+ years of experience in channel sales, distribution, or business development within networking, physical security, or similar industries.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Practical experience managing key security distributors or resellers, such as ADI, Wesco/Anixter, KOA, Pioneer Music Company, or Silmar Electronics.
• A solid understanding of the B2B market and the two-tier distribution model.
• Exceptional closing abilities and clear communication skills across phone conversations, written correspondence, presentations, and distributor branches.
• Strong interpersonal skills, self-driven attitude, and a sense of ownership.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Familiar with CRM tools for tracking key performance indicators, pipeline management, and account activities.
• Quick learner of product features with the ability to convey their value to partners and end-users.
• Strong analytical skills for analyzing sales data, spotting trends, and modifying strategies accordingly.
• Willingness to travel as required for onsite distributor meetings, training, trade shows, and events.
• Must be eligible to work without visa sponsorship, as the employer is unable to provide visa support.
• Base salary within the range of $120K–$150K annually.
