This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Drive revenue and profitability by establishing strong distributor partnerships while prioritizing TP-Link across various product lines.
• Collaborate with partners to predict demand, manage inventory levels, and address supply gaps.
• Lead promotions specific to channels and oversee product rollouts.
• Work alongside internal sales, marketing, and product teams in a cross-functional manner.
• Monitor market trends, pricing strategies, and competitor activities, transforming insights into actionable business strategies.
• Own and expand revenue through key security and low-voltage distributors throughout the U.S.
• Build relationships with buyers, category managers, and regional sales leaders.
• Implement joint business plans, promotional activities, and product launches.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews, forecasting sessions, and sales evaluations.
• Foster new customer relationships through training and education for consultants and installers.
• Optimize deal registration, inventory availability, and quoting processes.
• Provide product and sales training to distributor sales teams.
• Align distributor activities with a comprehensive go-to-market strategy.
• 5-7+ years of experience in channel sales, distribution, or business development in networking, physical security, or related sectors.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Direct experience managing key distributors such as ADI, Wesco/Anixter, KOA, Pioneer Music Company, Silmar Electronics, or other security distributors/resellers.
• Strong comprehension of the B2B market, particularly with a 2-tier distribution model.
• Proven ability to close deals and communicate effectively via phone, in writing, during presentations, and within distributor branches.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and an ownership mindset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience utilizing CRM tools to monitor KPIs, pipeline, and account activities.
• Ability to quickly grasp product features and translate them into value for both partners and end-users.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Willingness to travel for on-site distributor meetings, training sessions, trade shows, and events.
