This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Achieve sales and profitability targets by fostering strong distributor partnerships and driving product volume.
• Work collaboratively with partners to anticipate demand, manage inventory, and close supply gaps.
• Spearhead channel-specific promotions and product launches.
• Collaborate across sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment.
• Keep track of market trends, pricing strategies, and competitor activities, transforming insights into actionable business strategies.
• Take ownership of revenue growth through key security and low-voltage distributors across the United States.
• Cultivate relationships with buyers, category managers, and regional sales leaders.
• Implement joint business strategies, promotions, and product rollouts.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews, forecasting meetings, and sales performance evaluations.
• Generate new customer relationships through training and education for consultants and installers.
• Optimize deal registration, inventory management, and quoting processes.
• Provide product and sales training for distributor sales teams.
• Ensure distributor activities align with the overall go-to-market strategy.
• 5–7+ years of experience in channel sales, distribution, or business development within the networking, physical security, or related fields.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Experience managing key distributors such as ADI, Wesco/Anixter, KOA, Pioneer Music Company, Silmar Electronics, or similar security distributors/resellers.
• Strong grasp of the B2B market and the two-tier distribution model.
• Proven ability to close deals and communicate effectively through phone calls, written communication, presentations, and in distributor locations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, self-driven attitude, and ownership mentality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Comfortable utilizing CRM tools to monitor KPIs, pipeline, and account activities.
• Ability to quickly learn product features and convey their value to partners and end-users.
• Strong analytical capabilities to interpret sales data, identify trends, and modify strategies accordingly.
• Willingness to travel as required for distributor meetings, training, trade shows, and other events.
• Must have authorization to work without visa sponsorship; TP-Link cannot provide visa sponsorship at this time.
