This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Achieve sales and profitability objectives by establishing strong distributor partnerships and enhancing TP-Link product sales.
• Partner with distributors to predict demand, oversee inventory, and close supply shortages.
• Drive promotions and product launches tailored to specific channels.
• Collaborate across sales, marketing, and product teams.
• Keep track of market trends, pricing strategies, and competitor activities, transforming insights into actionable business strategies.
• Take ownership of and increase revenue through major security and low-voltage distributors throughout the U.S.
• Cultivate relationships with buyers, category managers, and regional sales leaders.
• Implement joint business strategies, promotional activities, and product introductions.
• Facilitate quarterly business reviews, forecasting meetings, and sales evaluations.
• Develop new customer relationships through training and education initiatives for consultants and installers.
• Optimize deal registrations, inventory access, and quoting processes.
• Provide product knowledge and sales training to distributor sales teams.
• Ensure distributor activities align with the overall go-to-market strategy.
• 5–7+ years of experience in channel sales, distribution, or business development within networking, physical security, or similar sectors.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Practical experience managing key distributors like ADI, Wesco/Anixter, KOA, Pioneer Music Company, Silmar Electronics, or other security distributors/resellers.
• Strong grasp of the B2B market and the two-tier distribution model (manufacturer → distributor → reseller/dealer).
• Demonstrated closing skills with clear communication abilities via phone, written correspondence, leadership presentations, and within distributor branches.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, self-driven approach, and a sense of ownership.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Comfortable utilizing CRM tools to monitor KPIs, pipeline, and account activities.
• Ability to swiftly learn product features and convey their value to partners and end-users.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret sales data, recognize trends, and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Willingness to travel as required for distributor meetings, training sessions, trade shows, and events.
• Currently unable to provide visa sponsorships.
• Competitive base salary ranging from $120K–$150K annually.
