Business Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.

📋 Description

• Establish connections with potential crop insurance agents and encourage them to partner with ProAg.

• Collaborate with existing crop insurance agents to increase the volume of their business with ProAg.

• Assess agents that align with the company's culture, profitability, and geographical reach to foster the most lucrative business for ProAg.

• Be prepared to travel extensively and flexibly to achieve sales objectives.

• Propel profitable growth through sales initiatives and marketing strategies focused on agents.

• Discover and pursue new business prospects with fresh agents through various channels.

• Keep an eye on competitors, industry developments, and client feedback.

• Execute targeted sales outreach to potential agents.

• Build strong relationships with existing business portfolios through regular on-site visits.

• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the crop insurance sector.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent education or experience.

• At least 6 years of relevant and progressive experience in sales.

• Experience in Crop Insurance is preferred.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.

• Exceptional organizational and analytical abilities, with a proven capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while working independently.
