This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Accountable for developing business strategies and ensuring client retention within a designated sales territory or for specific accounts.
• Aids the sales team in achieving annual sales targets and objectives.
• Organizes and conducts sales opportunities for TFS, collaborating with the internal TFS team to appropriately address any inquiries, such as Requests for Information (RFI) or Requests for Proposal (RFP).
• Ensures the TFS team is well-prepared for client meetings.
• Gathers, prepares, and presents relevant background information and summaries.
• Coordinates and finalizes budget or contract negotiations following the award of work to TFS within the designated territory or accounts.
• Builds and maintains regular communication and strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
• Develops and organizes sponsor presentations.
• Collects essential information for the preparation of proposals.
• Understands the RFI/RFP process and provides detailed insights and leadership throughout the proposal process for each initiated opportunity.
• Manages costs effectively, such as expenses, and submits claims promptly.
• Engages positively with TFS operations personnel, monitoring study status for projects with sponsors and assisting with change orders when notified of scope changes by operations.
• Observes and tracks competitor CRO activities.
• Plans and participates in major industry events and tradeshows as budgeted and required.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent significant industry experience.
• A minimum of five (5) years of clinical research and/or sales experience.
• Extensive sales experience exceeding 3 years, with strong negotiation and analytical abilities.
• Exceptional communication skills and leadership qualities, capable of influencing and guiding multiple stakeholders to fulfill customer needs.
• Proficient in both written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong and effective presentation skills; able to persuasively showcase the features and benefits of services to clients.
• Willingness to travel as dictated by the business development strategy, including extensive travel within the sales territory and to company meetings as required.
