This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Implement a strategic, systematic, and organized approach to identify, engage, and qualify new opportunities within designated vertical markets.
• Develop and nurture relationships with End Users, System Integrators, Consultants, and Partners.
• Conduct one-on-one discovery meetings with pre-qualified prospects to identify business drivers, risk concerns, operational limitations, and purchasing triggers.
• Analyze customer organizations (stakeholders, decision-making structures, procurement pathways) and maintain precise account intelligence.
• Convert customer challenges into solution-oriented opportunities and outline clear next steps.
• Collaborate with Sales to transfer qualified opportunities and sustain momentum throughout the sales cycle.
• Develop, oversee, and sustain a robust pipeline alongside a continuously growing qualified customer database.
• Present professional product/solution overviews and demonstrations specifically tailored to vertical use cases.
• Gather market insights regarding competitive activities, customer trends, and factors influencing strategy or tactical investments.
• Uphold rigorous CRM practices (e.g., Salesforce) with accurate activity tracking, meeting documentation, pipeline stages, and forecasts.
• Regularly review progress with Sales Leadership to ensure alignment with targets, KPIs, and priorities.
• Proven track record of generating pipeline and new business in B2B/solution-based sales, preferably within security, critical infrastructure, energy sectors, or related technical fields.
• Knowledge of security/surveillance technologies, perimeter intrusion detection, access control, video systems, sensors, or integrated solutions.
• Established ability to open doors, build trust, and foster relationships across various stakeholder levels.
• Strong business acumen with a history of achieving activity and pipeline targets.
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects while fulfilling commitments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and reporting abilities.
• Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM system.
• Willingness and capability to travel within Canada (and occasionally internationally as required).
