This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Lead the development of product specifications in collaboration with government agencies to drive profitable sales growth.
• Cultivate and sustain robust, long-term customer relationships by comprehensively understanding their needs and delivering solutions through a consultative sales approach.
• Provide exceptional training, customer service, and first-level technical support to ITS installation and maintenance contractors.
• Manage a complex sales cycle involving multiple stakeholders and foster relationships with key decision-makers.
• Meet established sales targets and objectives within the defined timeline.
• Engage actively in webinars, trade shows, and conferences, and pursue opportunities to present to industry groups.
• Stay informed about product updates, market dynamics, competitor activities, and industry advancements to uncover growth opportunities.
• Educate consulting engineers through lunch-and-learns on vehicle detection technologies, emphasizing safety benefits and possible integration with Advanced Traffic Management Systems.
• Collaborate with quoting and technical writing teams to supply essential information for project take-offs.
• Ensure precise expense reporting and compliance with the corporate budget.
• Consistently update team members on progress and deliver sales forecasts for the assigned territory.
• Leverage CRM systems for accurate reporting and analysis.
• Undertake additional duties and projects as assigned in the capacity of Business Development Manager.
• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or a related field is preferred, though not mandatory.
• A proven track record of over 5 years in driving sales growth for technical solutions, encompassing both hardware and software.
• Demonstrated ability to forge strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, showcasing a commitment to service excellence.
• Capability to develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge, along with an understanding of competitor positioning.
• Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, lead generation, and other pertinent tools.
• Outstanding oral, written, and group communication abilities.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
