This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, sustain, and oversee new business ventures for Strata’s technology offerings within the North American mining sector.
• Identify and chase new customer prospects among mining operators, contractors, consultants, OEMs, and channel partners.
• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with current and potential customers, accounts, dealers, and key industry contacts.
• Implement territory and account growth strategies in alignment with company goals and regional sales plans.
• Work alongside Account Managers to foster account growth by spotting and developing opportunities to introduce additional Strata solutions within existing customer operations.
• Prepare and present quotations, proposals, presentations, and other commercial documentation.
• Organize and assist with submissions for Tenders, Expressions of Interest (EOIs), and Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Meet annual sales goals and business development targets.
• Maintain precise CRM records, sales forecasts, activity reports, and opportunity tracking.
• Collaborate with Product Management to relay customer feedback, market insights, and product development suggestions that enhance Strata’s competitive edge.
• Conduct customer site visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations to facilitate the sales process.
• Keep track of mining industry trends, competitor actions, and market developments to aid in strategic planning and positioning.
• Represent Strata at trade shows, conferences, networking events, and customer meetings across North America.
• Assist in commercial negotiations and contract discussions in accordance with company objectives.
• A relevant degree, diploma, or technical certification from a college, university, or technical school is preferred.
• A proven and successful history in business development, technical sales, or account management.
• Commercial experience in the mining industry is essential.
• Preferred experience in working with or supporting mine operators, contractors, consultants, OEMs, or mining suppliers.
• A strong grasp of mining operations, mining technology, and/or industrial solutions.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.
• Self-driven with excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in managing intricate sales opportunities and customer relationships.
• Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the United States and Canada (approximately 50%).
• Capability to work independently while effectively collaborating in a team setting.
• Ability to visit and operate within active mining and industrial settings, including the use of necessary PPE.
