📋 Description

• Over 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management with a focus on UK law enforcement, government, and public sector clients.

• Required experience working within or directly supporting a law enforcement agency.

• A proven history of success in complex, high-value B2G (Business-to-Government) sales settings.

• Demonstrated experience in selling solutions to UK government, public safety, or law enforcement entities.

• Strong comprehension of UK government procurement, tendering, framework agreements, and contracting procedures.

• Experience collaborating with law enforcement, intelligence, or government organizations.

• Skilled in developing and managing opportunities across designated territories and public sector accounts.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Proven capability to oversee sales cycles that involve multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.

• Eligibility and readiness to obtain and maintain the necessary UK Security Clearance.

• Willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed.


⛳️ Requirements

• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business prospects across assigned law enforcement, government, and public sector accounts in the UK.

• Create and implement strategic account and territory plans to meet growth objectives.

• Manage the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, opportunity development, proposal creation, negotiation, and contract awarding.

• Consistently meet and surpass quarterly and annual booking targets through effective pipeline management and forecasting practices.

• Maintain a robust sales pipeline and deliver accurate forecasts to sales leadership.

• Build and sustain long-term relationships with key law enforcement agencies, government stakeholders, intelligence organizations, consultants, and system integrators.

• Engage with executive and operational leaders to comprehend mission requirements and align SS8 solutions with customer objectives.

• Act as a trusted advisor by offering industry expertise, best practices, and strategic direction.

• Collaborate closely with the Vice President of Account Management and the wider sales organization to devise territory strategies and pursue high-value opportunities.

• Navigate intricate public sector procurement, tendering, and contracting processes.

• Oversee and coordinate RFI, RFQ, and RFP responses, ensuring high-quality and compliant submissions.

• Identify and cultivate opportunities through government frameworks, procurement vehicles, and partner channels.

• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Legal, Engineering, and Operations teams to align customer needs with SS8 solutions.

• Represent SS8 at government meetings, industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events.

• Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, procurement activities, and competitive intelligence to inform go-to-market strategies.

• Travel may be required (up to 50%).
