This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kenya.
• Develop and execute sales initiatives to achieve targets, fostering growth and enhancing our presence within the designated territory;
• Onboard new partners such as tour operators, travel agencies, travel management companies, and OTAs, providing them with comprehensive training on our system;
• Establish and nurture strong, enduring relationships with both new and existing partners;
• Manage accounts for a designated portfolio of partners, offering first-level support;
• Follow up with current partners to deliver system training and explore opportunities for enhancing collaboration;
• Prepare, execute, and oversee commercial agreements with partners, ensuring the completion of necessary documentation and technical setup;
• Monitor compliance with commercial agreements by partners, including managing the payment processes;
• Allocate approximately 50% of your work hours to business travel, which includes client meetings, industry events, and other work-related gatherings;
• Conduct market analysis and evaluate the competitive landscape;
• Provide regular, detailed reporting via CRM and internal systems;
• Initiate API agreements with both prospective and existing partners.
• Relevant Experience. A minimum of 3 years of proven success in the complete sales lifecycle within the travel industry, emphasizing business development and account management for B2B companies;
• Market Knowledge. A thorough understanding of the travel market in the region, including B2B travel networks (tour operators, travel agencies, travel management companies, OTAs);
• Language Proficiency. Fluent in English;
• Travel Requirements. Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time;
• Analytical Skills. Comfortable with data-driven decision-making, metrics-oriented, and proficient with numbers;
• Personal Attributes. Proactive, ambitious, motivated, action-oriented, results-focused, eager for innovative technology, and a team player;
• International Perspective. Capable of understanding and navigating diverse cultural contexts reflective of ETG’s global operations;
• Proficiency in API technology agreements is an advantage.
