This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Increase revenue within Germany and the broader German-speaking market.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, from identifying and qualifying opportunities to closing deals and expanding key accounts.
• Identify and self-generate opportunities from wind asset owners, ISPs, and OEMs.
• Conduct outbound outreach and assess inbound leads generated by the Marketing team.
• Educate a market that is unfamiliar with autonomous inspection technology.
• Handle demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, and closures across unit sales, inspection services, and subscriptions, including tenders.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Develop existing accounts and identify upsell and renewal opportunities.
• Create and execute the DACH go-to-market strategy in collaboration with the Head of Sales.
• Represent the company at industry events, such as WindEnergy Hamburg.
• Monitor competitors, pricing, and regulations in the German renewable energy sector.
• Maintain up-to-date CRM records, report on pipeline status and forecasts, and provide customer insights to influence the product roadmap.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B technology, software, or industrial sales, preferably in wind, drones, or a similar technical field.
• Proven success in meeting or exceeding targets, along with a history of acquiring new accounts and nurturing them into key accounts over time.
• Proficient in managing both leading KPIs (activity) and lagging KPIs (revenue and pipeline value).
• Excellent skills in contract negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building, with a background in leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes.
• Experienced in maintaining and utilizing CRM data effectively.
• Native or fluent in German, both written and spoken, as well as fluent in business English.
• Comfortable with taking initiative; as a small team, we expect you to take ownership of your responsibilities.
• Able to collaborate effectively within a distributed, remote team environment.
• Willingness to travel within Germany and occasionally across Europe, with reasonable notice.
• Established network within the German wind industry, including connections with asset owners, ISPs, and OEMs.
• Knowledgeable about wind Operations and Maintenance (O&M).
• Residing in Germany with the right to work there.
• Familiarity with AI-driven damage detection or inspection technologies.
• Experience selling drone-related products or services.
• Background in responding to public or private tenders.
• Proficient in outbound and cold prospecting as well as closing sales.
• Degree in engineering, technical fields, or business, or equivalent professional experience.
