This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify and prospect strategic accounts and opportunities within your designated territory.
• Create and/or lead marketing campaigns tailored to specific markets or territories in collaboration with the marketing and product management teams.
• Qualify leads through phone calls, emails, and research efforts.
• Travel approximately 30-40% of the time to represent Onterris at conferences, trade shows, industry events, and conduct face-to-face meetings with prospects across the United States, either individually or as part of a larger team.
• Act as the primary point of contact for Onterris customers, fostering strong relationships and ensuring a high-quality client experience.
• Develop client-focused solutions by aligning customer needs with the extensive technical expertise, resources, and subject matter experts available in the Onterris network.
• Manage the sales funnel from initial client contact to the finalization of purchase orders.
• Nurture existing relationships and strategize to enhance key partnerships.
• Escalate client inquiries and concerns to management to secure client satisfaction.
• Maintain our CRM system (Salesforce) with all relevant leads, opportunities, prospects, customers, and activities to track metrics and share analytics and insights with leadership, supporting overall business health.
• Prepare monthly reports that highlight sales, quote activity, pipeline forecasts, important client feedback, and market conditions (identifying opportunities and risks).
• Assist in developing strategies that enhance the quality and depth of market and competitor intelligence to positively influence the probability of winning.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support team objectives and business priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field, and/or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated success in business development for capital equipment solutions, with a preference for water treatment technology.
• Strong technical background with the capability to learn, comprehend, and communicate technical information effectively.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to listen attentively and solve problems.
• Highly motivated, determined, and driven to achieve targets.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and execute in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills, both internally and externally.
• Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with CRM best practices.
• Knowledge of data analysis and reporting techniques.
