• Promote MHI Products: Inform travel partners and key decision-makers about the offerings of Meliá Hotels International to enhance sales and brand visibility.
• Develop New Business: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with Travel Partners, including agencies affiliated with a PREMIUM Consortia, Tour Operators, Airlines, Tourism Boards, Entertainment agencies, and Luxury Travel Agencies within your designated territory to any hotel in the MHI portfolio worldwide.
• Sales Coordination: Oversee all sales operations in accordance with corporate policies and standards.
• Strategic Planning: Create and execute a clear and effective sales strategy to generate new leads and achieve sales targets.
• Relationship Management: Establish and nurture business relationships in the relevant markets to foster successful business interactions.
• Market Analysis: Perform competitor and market analyses, collaborating closely with hotels and other stakeholders within the organization.
• Experience: At least three years in a similar position, with a proven ability to surpass sales targets.
• Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with a strong capacity to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Attitude: Remain positive in all situations and focused on achieving goals.
• Knowledge: Thorough understanding of the assigned area/market, proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems, as well as experience with RFP management and business development tools.
• Legal Requirements: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Languages: Native or bilingual proficiency in English; proficiency in additional languages is highly valued.
