This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Identify, research, and establish connections with manufacturers of diagnostics in North America (U.S. and Canada), focusing particularly on companies involved in human clinical testing and in vitro diagnostics (IVD).

• Build relationships with key decision-makers, such as those in Procurement, R&D, and technical evaluation teams.

• Facilitate introductions and secure initial appointments, meetings, and qualified leads.

• Assist in the development, alignment, and preparation of proposals to ensure they meet customer needs and align with company capabilities.

• Provide advisory support for business development during the early stages of deal formation.

• Organize and coordinate technical discussions between customers and internal teams as necessary.

• Track the progress of early business activities and help with follow-up to maintain engagement.

• Support colleagues from Japan during customer interactions to ensure effective communication and cultural understanding.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Chemistry, Business) is preferred.

• Experience in the in vitro diagnostics (IVD) sector, particularly in human clinical testing.

• A robust network and established connections with diagnostics companies in the U.S. and Canada.

• B2B experience with technical products, demonstrating the ability to comprehend and communicate technical concepts effectively.

• Capability to assist in proposal development and strategic alignment for new business initiatives.

• Preferred qualifications include business development experience, a background in biotech, or a broad industry network.

• A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset (“frontiersman spirit”) with the ability to identify and nurture new customer relationships, even without prior contacts.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for cultivating and maintaining long-term relationships.
