This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Identify and pursue potential retail partners across specified industries and geographical areas.
• Execute outbound sales initiatives, including cold calling, email outreach, and face-to-face meetings, to engage with key decision-makers.
• Showcase Kafene’s value proposition and financing solutions customized to meet the needs of retailers.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve and surpass sales objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure sales strategies are aligned with company goals and market dynamics.
• Build relationships within the organization with the account management team to facilitate a smooth transition of retailers to their respective account managers.
• Work in conjunction with the account management team to onboard new retailers effectively.
• Track and evaluate market trends, competitor actions, and customer insights to uncover opportunities and address challenges.
• Offer insights and suggestions to the leadership team to improve Kafene’s product offerings and market positioning.
• Collaborate closely with the Account Management team to ensure that newly onboarded retailers are well-supported during their initial 90 days.
• Team up with marketing and product departments to enhance messaging, promotional content, and sales tools.
• You possess over 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related domain, preferably in fintech, retail, or B2B sectors.
• You have a history of consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets and driving notable revenue growth.
• You have a thorough understanding of retail operations and financing solutions, enabling you to use this expertise to foster success.
• You excel in communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the capacity to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• You are self-driven, with a strong ability to work autonomously as well as collaborate effectively in a team setting.
• You are skilled in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and the Microsoft Office Suite, ensuring efficient management of sales processes and communications.
• A valid driver's license is required, as this position involves regular travel to client locations.
