• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new business opportunities that align with the strategic objectives of the SBU.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients, including key decision-makers and executive stakeholders.
• Guide, mentor, and assist the business development team in meeting sales goals and fostering their professional growth.
• Formulate and implement strategies to enhance market presence, acquire new accounts, and drive revenue growth.
• Oversee the negotiation and finalization of business agreements, ensuring favorable terms and adherence to SBU objectives.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions, identify trends, and adjust methods according to market conditions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of business development initiatives with other departments and overall company goals.
• Implement and refine processes for business development operations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor and report on business development performance, including sales metrics, client feedback, and market trends.
• Perform additional related tasks as needed, including occasional travel to client locations and industry events.
• A minimum of four years of experience in business development.
• Proven track record of success in leading teams and facilitating growth.
• Previous experience in healthcare staffing or consulting services is preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of business functions and services, along with knowledge of business strategy, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to influence or change the positions and opinions of others.
• Engaging others to seek input, foster contribution, and share accountability for results.
• Ability to reach mutually beneficial agreements and compromises.
• Present oneself as a positive representative of the organization.
• Create a motivating atmosphere, achieve teamwork, train and develop others, measure work in progress, and take corrective actions as necessary.
