This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Primarily concentrate on ISPs as the main customer segment, fostering relationships with decision-makers at small, mid-sized, and large ISPs throughout Mexico.
• Proactively seek out new customers, analyze the market, establish strategic accounts, initiate new commercial discussions, and create a sales pipeline from the ground up.
• Cultivate new business opportunities with ISPs, carriers, telecom operators, enterprise clients, technology firms, data centers, resellers, content providers, and other purchasers of connectivity and digital infrastructure solutions.
• Leverage existing relationships within the Mexican telecommunications and ISP landscape to connect with decision-makers, pinpoint commercial opportunities, and expedite new business development.
• Generate, oversee, and enhance a robust sales pipeline, from initial prospecting and qualification through proposal preparation, negotiation, and deal closure.
• Perform outbound prospecting via cold and warm outreach, referrals, industry events, established market relationships, and direct engagement with potential clients.
• Establish long-term commercial relationships with new clients, serving as the main commercial point of contact throughout the sales journey and during the early phases of account development.
• Ensure consistent commercial follow-up with prospects and customers, guaranteeing timely responses, effective communication, and seamless coordination with internal teams.
• Assist in resolving customer issues when necessary, collaborating with internal teams to safeguard commercial relationships and future growth avenues.
• Recognize opportunities to enhance the relationship post-initial sale by introducing additional services that align with the customer’s requirements.
• Market wholesale telecommunications and digital infrastructure solutions, including IP Transit, backbone connectivity, EPL, Ethernet Private Line, Wave, DDoS mitigation, and related services.
• Negotiate commercial terms, prepare proposals, handle objections, and manage the entire sales cycle through to closing.
• Provide internal teams with pertinent market feedback, customer insights, and competitive intelligence.
• Accurately track prospecting activities, sales objectives, pipeline advancements, customer interactions, and opportunity statuses in the CRM system.
• Proficiency in Spanish.
• Demonstrated sales experience in wholesale telecommunications, connectivity, carrier, ISP, telecom operator, or digital infrastructure sectors.
• Background in selling solutions such as IP Transit, backbone connectivity, EPL, Wave, DDoS mitigation, or other related wholesale connectivity services.
• Strong hunter mentality, with experience in prospecting new clients, opening accounts, building a pipeline from scratch, and successfully closing new business.
• Comprehensive understanding of the Mexican ISP and telecommunications market, including key players, commercial dynamics, and customer needs.
• Experience selling directly to ISP decision-makers, including owners, technical directors, NOC managers, and commercial leaders.
• Ability to manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closure.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, organizational, and CRM management skills.
